SWIP appoints Jeremy Charles as Investment Director in UK Equities

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has strengthened its UK Equities team with the appointment of Jeremy Charles as Investment Director.

Based in SWIP’s Edinburgh office, Jeremy joins the company on Tuesday 20 July and will report to Peter Cockburn, Head of UK Equities. He will be involved in the management of SWIP’s core UK institutional and retail funds and will help to drive forward the equity business strategy.

Jeremy brings more than 23 years of experience in asset management to the role and joins from Aviva UK Life where he was a senior portfolio manager. Prior to this he worked for Shell Pensions, Shell Trust Bermuda Ltd and Canada Life.
