SWIP employee benefits

Short Term Incentive Plan
All SWIP employees are eligible to participate in the discretionary STIP subject to the rules detailed in the Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Group Limited Short Term Incentive Plan. The plan pays out annually based on performance; the rules may change from time to time.

Pension plan
If you meet the eligibility criteria for the Pension Investment Plan you will automatically be enrolled into the plan. Currently, automatic entry is given to staff on established contracts who are 25 years of age or older. If you are aged between 18 and 25 years and on an established contract you can join the scheme on a voluntary basis as a partial member. You will automatically become a full member when you reach 25 years of age.  Life insurance cover of 4 times your salary is provided if you are enrolled.

Holiday entitlement
This benefit gives you 35 days annual holiday entitlement plus 3 public holidays. The holiday year commences in January.

Private medical plan
This benefit gives you a tax-free cash refund towards the cost of private medical care. You can cover yourself, your partner and your child(ren).

Discounted Bank Products
Subject to having a Lloyds TSB / Scottish Widows bank account, preferential terms on overdrafts, other personal account services, mortgages, personal loans, credit cards, foreign exchange and general insurance are available.
