Gerry Ferguson

The Trust’s manager, Gerry Ferguson, is an investment director in the SWIP Real Estate team with responsibility for the SWIP Property Trust. He is involved in setting and implementing fund strategy and is also a member of the property investment committee.

Prior to joining SWIP in September 2000, Gerry spent four years as a director with RREEF (UK) Limited, the largest independent property fund manager in the UK.

Previously, Gerry worked for Scottish Amicable for ten years as fund manager responsible for its Life Property Fund, and before then, for three years with Scottish Widows focusing on the UK market. Between 1974 and 1983, Gerry worked for various organisations dealing with the Scottish property market.

Gerry holds a BSc in applied science from the University of Glasgow.

Kerri Hunter

Kerri is an investment manager and deputy manager of the SWIP Property Trust, responsible for setting and implementing fund strategy, undertaking investment acquisitions/disposals and driving the performance of the portfolio through active asset management.

Prior to joining SWIP, Kerri spent four years with Scottish Life Assurance Company/Royal London Asset Management. Her role was initially investment focused before she became development fund manager, with sole responsibility for the group’s development properties. She also worked in private practice for three years, specialising in agency and landlord and tenant.

Kerri holds a BSc in land economics (Distinction) from the University of Paisley, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Kerri has obtained the IPF Property Investment Diploma.
