Cash investment process

Our many years of experience in managing cash have enabled us to develop rigorous investment processes that identify and exploit attractive opportunities whilst aiming to minimise overall risk.

Integral to the process is a long-standing commitment to conducting our own in-depth, fundamental research. We have dedicated cash and bond teams who interact very closely, especially on segregated cash mandates. Together with our in-house economists they develop a full understanding of the current factors affecting cash and (where appropriate) fixed income markets.

All our funds also benefit from strict risk controls that constantly review live positions with the aim of ensuring that each client receives the very best performance for the level of risk taken.

Quality, strength and depth
At SWIP we have one of the strongest and most experienced fixed interest and cash investment teams in the UK, a key factor that has enabled us to deliver superior levels of outperformance.
